Change Appropriately After Bathing

After bathing a Sim will change into a towel or robe if they're about to go to bed, their school/work uniform if they are about to go to school/work, otherwise their everyday clothes.

This mod is a combination of MogHughson's Dress Me Correctly and various mods that dress Sims in towels after they bathe, for example, Epi's Towel Mod Lite and then some.

Timings are more configurable than in Mog's mod.

The choice of towel, robe or random can be set per family and then overridden for each Sim.

There are four colours to choose from - white, red, green or blue - and this can be left random or set per family and then overridden for each Sim. If a Sim has a preferred colour trait, this will override all other colour settings.

There is also a chance that female Sims will have their hair in curlers or a towel turban.

For more risqué Sims, there is also a NSFW sexy towel/robe option.

Installation

The following three files are required and should be unzipped into a sub-directory for this mod

  • ChangeAppropriatelyAfterBathing.zip - this contains the base code and "Outfit Selector" object.
  • ChangeAppropriatelyAfterBathing_Outfits_Meshes.zip - this contains the new meshes and preg morphed versions.
  • ChangeAppropriatelyAfterBathing_Outfits_White.zip - this contains the white towels and robes, these are the "fall-back" outfits and are required.

The following 3rd party custom clothes are used by this mod. As not all recolours are used and as some items have been recategorised, the required items have been included in the coloured zip files for your convenience.

The following optional colours are available, pick the one(s) you want

  • ChangeAppropriatelyAfterBathing_Outfits_Red.zip - this contains the red towels and robes.
  • ChangeAppropriatelyAfterBathing_Outfits_Green.zip - this contains the green towels and robes.
  • ChangeAppropriatelyAfterBathing_Outfits_Blue.zip - this contains the blue towels and robes.

If you use Epi's Color Traits mod extract the contents of ChangeAppropriatelyAfterBathing_ColourTraits.zip into the same sub-directory. You will also need Easy Inventory Check.

If you use a mod that allows pregnant Sims to wear any outfits (and not just maternity clothes), extract the contents of ChangeAppropriatelyAfterBathing_PregnantAnyOutfit.zip into the same sub-directory.

If you use Smonaff's mod to click on a Sim and change their clothes, extract the contents of either Smonaff_ChangeClothesPieMenu.zip or Smonaff_ChangeClothesPieMenu_PregnantAnyOutfit.zip into the same sub-directory and delete the original mod. Without this version of the mod, hair curlers and towel turbans will not be removed when a Sim changes outfit.

NSFW Options

If you wish to use the risqué towels/robes, extract the contents of ChangeAppropriatelyAfterBathing_Outfits_Sexy.zip into the same sub-directory.

The following 3rd party custom clothes are used by this option. As not all recolours are used and as some items have been recategorised, the required items have been included in the zip file for your convenience.

You will also need to install "Pura Verga!" Controller for male anatomy to display correctly.

If you use CBOY's naked woohoo mod, extract the contents of ChangeAppropriatelyAfterBathing_NakedAfterWooHoo.zip into the same sub-directory.

After installation it is recommended to run HCDU Plus and remove any duplicate items of clothing you may have. As I had to re-categorise most outfits to be both Undies and PJs I have included all recolours needed. Also, most meshes have been given preg morphs.

Outfit Selector

This "towel on a ring" ($150, Bathroom, Decorative/Misc) permits per family and per sim choices for style, colour and headwear to be set, or reverted to the default.

Its style (wood or metal, ring or rail) and colour of towel (white, pink, green or blue) can also be set directly, or the colour of the towel can be set to reflect the family preference.

Configuration

BCON 0x2022 "Tuning - Dress Me Correctly"

  • 0x00 Child Bedtime relative to School - assumed bedtime for children, hours before the start of school
  • 0x01 Teen Bedtime relative to School - assumed bedtime for teens, hours before the start of school
  • 0x02 Adult Bedtime relative to Work - assumed bedtime for adults, hours before the start of work
  • 0x03 Elder Bedtime relative to Work - assumed bedtime for elders, hours before the start of work
  • 0x04 Assumed bedtime where none calculated - assumed bedtime when no others apply, default 10pm (was 11pm in Mog's mod)
  • 0x05 Hours before school for uniform - hours before the start of school when a child/teen will change into their uniform, default 3 (so 6am onwards, was 7am in Mog's mod)
  • 0x06 Hours before work for work outfit - hours before the start of work when a teen/adult/elder will change into their work clothes, default 3
  • 0x07 Start hour for underwear (inclusive) - currently unused
  • 0x08 End hour for underwear (exclusive) - currently unused
  • 0x09 Outgoing Naked After Showering? - default 0, set to 1 for outgoing Sims to remain naked after showering

BCON 0x2024 "Tuning - Family Defaults"

  • 0x00 (unused)
  • 0x01 Style - default style if not set per family or per Sim; 0=Towel, 1=Robe, 2=Sexy, 3=Robe or Towel
  • 0x02 Colour - default colour if not set per family, per Sim, or via colour traits; 0=White, 1=Red, 2=Green, 3=Blue, -1=Random
  • 0x03 Headwear - default headwear (curlers/towel turban) enabled for females if not set per family or per Sim; 1=Enabled, 0=Disabled

BCON 0x2025 "Tuning - Colour Traits"

  • 0x00 thru 0x0C - towel/robe colour associated with the corresponding preferred colour trait; 0=White, 1=Red, 2=Green, 3=Blue, -1=Random

BCON 0x2026 "Tuning - Percentage Chance"

  • 0x00 %chance hair curlers - default 10%, chance a female Sim will come out of the shower with hair curlers
  • 0x01 %chance hair towel wrap - default 40%, chance a female Sim will come out of the shower with their hair in a towel turban
  • 0x02 %chance body towel - default 50%, chance of a towel when style is "Robe or Towel"

Using Different Outfits

There are 12 outfit templates, one for each colour for each style. Each template contains 10 entries, male/female for child/teen/YA/adult/elder.

To change an outfit to something else you will need the CRES and GZPS entries from the 3IDR resource for the new outfit and copy them into the corresponding 3IDR resource in the associated template.

For example, to change the girl robe to "periwinkle", open the fp7_chUbodybathrobe-periwinkle.package file with SimPe and note the "Resource Node" and "Category" SubType, Group and Instance values.

Now open the WH_ShowerOutfit_Robes_Red.package file with SimPe, select the 3IDR resource with instance 0x0009 (you can work out which instance you need from the 'age' and 'gender' values in the corresponding AGED resource) and overwrite the "Resource Node" and "Property Set" values. Commit and Save.

Note: Replacement outfits MUST be categorised as both Undies and PJs.

Techy Stuff

The ChangeAppropriatelyAfterBathing.xlsx spreadsheet contains the modified versions of Mog's timelines and details of all meshes and recolours used.

Conflicts

This mod changes and adds a total of 31 BHAVs, BCONs and STR# resources to the BedGlobals (0x7F4437F2), JobDataSchoolGlobals (0x7FBE051B), ShoppingRackGlobals (0x7FE10572) and TubAndShowerGlobals (0x7FE69E23). Make sure to run a conflict checking utility!!!

Known to conflict with CBOY_nudist.package and Advanced Nudist Mod, make sure this mod loads after and use the WH_ChangeAppropriatelyAfterBathing_NakedAfterWooHoo.package file. Also, set BCON 0x2022:0x09 "Outgoing Naked After Showering?" to 1.

Known to conflict with InTeen's PregnancyWearAnyOutfitEP5_InTeen.package, make sure this mod loads after and use the WH_ChangeAppropriatelyAfterBathing_PregnantAnyOutfit.package file.

Known to conflict with Smonaff's Smonaff_ChangeClothesPieMenu.package, remove the original mod and use either WH_Smonaff_ChangeClothesPieMenu.package or WH_Smonaff_ChangeClothesPieMenu_PregnantAnyOutfit.package.

Known to conflict with MogHughson's Dress Me Correctly, remove the original mod as this mod replaces its functionality.

Known to conflict with Epi's Towel Mod Lite, remove the original mod as this mod replaces its functionality.

Known to conflict with Ailias' Dress Towel after the Bath/Shower, remove the original mod as this mod replaces its functionality.

Known to conflict with simler90's Towel Mod, decide which mod you want as they make different, incompatible, changes.
