Architecture of Seahouses Bay

Seahouses - Old Town

Graveyard and Chapel-Of-Rest

The Old Pump House

For the last week or so, external contractors have been working at the old pumping house and water treatment works - deepening/widening the water courses, removing the machinery and renovating the pump house.

The locals are intrigued ... it's all very mysterious ...

SeaCot Afforable Homes

Seahouses Community Trust (SeaCot) are happy to announce the release of their first two affordable homes for first time buyers, converted from the old "Lobster Pots" house.

(In order to discourage children of locals moving out to the bright lights of the big city, Seahouses District Council (SDC) have a "returning child" policy that offers a grant of $20k to (part) purchase a local home. While this policy is working, most young couples/families are buying property on the new Bay View development (where houses start at $12k) and not in the old town (where houses start at $25k!). To counteract this (and also to get some of their money back) SDC have created the Seahouses Community Trust (SeaCot) with the specific aim of making the old town more affordable for first time buyers.)

Lobster Pots - original house and floor plan

Lobster Pot (approx $10,600) and Crab Pot (approx $13,100)

"Lobster Pot" (left hand side) comprises an open plan kitchen/dining/living area plus WC on the ground floor and a spacious double bedroom with en-suite shower room and front/rear balconies on the first floor.

"Crab Pot" (right hand side) comprises an open plan kitchen/dining/living area plus under-stairs WC on the ground floor, a nursery/bedroom plus family bathroom and rear balcony on the first floor and a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom on the second floor.

And for the more amorous - changing rooms, a photo booth and even a lift!

Right: Swim'n'Sweat - Come and work out - either on the equipment, in the pool, or roller-skating - or just relax in the hot-tubs or at the bar.

With the increase of children and young teenagers on the estate, Bay View Developments Ltd are pleased to announce the opening of a free adventure park.

Seahouses - University

Self-Catering Dorms

Sim State has just completed the latest student accommodation - King Court

Self-catering for eight students as four single units and two double units.

Single Unit

Double Unit

If the project proves popular with students, the parcel of land next door will house Queen Court!

Update: Actually it was a complete failure! Serve Meal is impossible, as you can't stop the sim trying to use every available table, and not just the one in their unit :(
